RV Insurance Requirements
RV insurance is legally required in many states. Liability coverage is also usually required. The following minimum requirements for liability insurance are:

Bodily injury for each person for $25,000

Bodily injury for each accident for $50,000

Property damage for each accident for $25,000
If you have a pulled RV, utility trailer, pop-up RV, or travel RV, you are not required to meet these coverage minimums.
Bodily injury and property damage coverage will cover the expenses for another person if you cause damage or bodily injury to them.
RV Insurance Coverage
Here are additional RV insurance coverage options you can choose from:

Comprehensive- This protects you from repair expenses if your RV becomes damaged from theft, fire, vandalism, glass breakage, or severe weather. Even if you are not operating your vehicle, this will protect you.

Collision- If you get into an accident with another vehicle or have a collision with an object, this will cover damage sustained to your RV.

Medical payments- If another person injures themselves while in your RV, this will cover that person’s medical expenses.

Loss assessment- This will cover repair expenses if your RV is damaged while it is parked.

Total loss replacement- If your RV is totaled, this will provide coverage if your RV is less than five years old.

Roadside assistance- This will cover towing fees associated with towing your RV to a repair shop if it becomes inoperable while driving it.
